Imphal: Manipur Health directorate on Wednesday till 9 pm reported 102 new Dengue cases, which took the cumulative cases tally to 2579.
Sixty-two of the new cases were confirmed in Imphal West district, 30 in Imphal East district, five in Bishnupur district, two in Thoubal district and, one in Chandel, Tengnoupal and Kamjong districts.
Imphal West has the highest number of Dengue cases with 1840 cases followed by Imphal East with 426 and Bishnupur with 77 cases.
Till date in October the Dengue cases surged to 1087 as against the September report of 963 cases.
There has been no report of taking up strict measures by the concerned authority, except issuing self precautionary measures to the public.
