Imphal: The Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) Sadar Hills urges all government offices, govemment and private schools and colleges in Kangpokpi district to observe September 13 a full-day holiday.
“This day is observed to show solidarity and respect to the bereaved families as a Kuki Black Datyin our history.”
The student body requested all institutions to observe the day with dignity.
“KSO Sadar swimmers will be monitoring across the district, and if any unwanted incident occurs due to failure to comply, it will be at the institution’s own risk. KSO Sadar Hills will not be held responsible for a, consequences.”
KSO Sadar Hills also requested the general public to observe the day as a “Day of Prayer”, coming together in solidarity and paying respects to the victims and their families.
