Imphal: Manipur governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Wednesday inaugurated the Lamangdong Ima Keithel at Bishnupur district headquarters. H.
The governor was welcomed by Govindas Konthoujam, MLA; along with the deputy commissioner, superintendent of police, Bishnupur, other officers, and members of the public. He inspected the market sheds.
The governor, along with the first lady governor, later visited the Sadu Chiru Waterfall in Kangpokpi district, adjoining Bishnupur district, and witnessed the serene beauty of the waterfall.
The Sadu Chiru Village Authority, led by its representatives, welcomed the governor and submitted a memorandum requesting support for the reopening of the tourist spot.
The deputy commissioner and superintendent of police of Kangpokpi district, along with other officers, were also present during the visit.
