Awareness on Operation Sindoor at Upper Assam and Manipur organised

Imphal: Indian Army organized special outreach sessions at Upper Assam and Manipur, with the aim of fostering patriotism and strengthening the bond between the Army and the youth, said a press release received on Friday.

The Indian Army organised an informative session on Operation Sindoor at Patkai Junior College Jagun, DPS Digboi and Digboi College. The event highlighted the factual details of the operation, bringing out its true narrative while showcasing the valour and commitment of the Armed Forces. The programme was attended by students and faculty members in large numbers.

The presentation covered the background, objectives and execution of the operation. A modern weapons and equipment display was also organised, offering participants first-hand exposure to the technological advancements and operational preparedness of the Army.

Similarly in Bishnupur District of Manipur in line with its commitment to nation building and youth engagement, Indian Army also conducted educational session on Operation Sindoor in Career Foundation Academy, Phubala, Ereima English Academy, Naransena and Sagang High School in Manipur which was attended by over 650 students. The session showcased professionalism, preparedness and commitment of Indian Defence Forces in safeguarding national security.

The initiative aimed to sensitise the youth, enabling them to counter false narratives and strengthening their resolve to stand by the truth. It further motivated the younger generation to imbibe values of patriotism, discipline and service to the nation.
