Imphal: Manipur Police rescued two minor girls; one from Kakching bazar area under Kakching police station, Kakching district and the other from Wangbal Laikon area under Thoubal police station, Thoubal district on March 8.
On the same day, Manipur Police arrested two active cadres of RPF/PLA from Kakching bazar area, namely Moirangthem Romen Singh alias Phirepa, 23, of Moirang Bazar Maning Moiranghtem Leikai and Nongmaithem Mohendro Singh, 54, of Kakching Thonglan who were involved in recruiting the minor girls in their organisation RPF/PLA, said Manipur Police Control Room on Monday.
From their possession, one scooter and two mobile phone were seized. On Sunday, the rescued minor girls were produced before the Chairperson, CWC, Thoubal for further formalities, it added.
