Imphal: Manipur chief secretary Prashant Kumar Singh chaired a meeting at the conference hall of Kangpokpi district civil society organisations (CSOs), district level officers, medical staff and education officials.
Kumar emphasised the importance of working together step by step and mutual cooperating with each other.
He also took suggestions from CSOs on feasible solutions to the problems faced by the people and made an assurance that the government is committed to resolving these issues.
This meeting served as a platform for open communication and collaboration between the government and various organisations.
The chief secretary was accompanied by DGP Rajiv Singh and N. Ashok Kumar, commissioner (Home).
Later in the evening, the deputy commissioner of Kangpokpi, Mahesh Chaudhari, accompanied by superintendent of police Kangpokpi, Manoj Prabhakar and SDOs of Kangpokpi district paid a visit to the pre-fabricated houses in Ngahmun village, Champhai sub-division.
During his visit, he not only took stock of the living conditions of the inmates but also distributed essential items to them.
