Imphal: A video reporter of local TV channel, IMPACT TV, sustained a bullet injury allegedly fired by suspected Kuki militants on Saturday morning at Thamnapokpi in Imphal East district of Manipur.
The injured reporter, K. Kabichandra, was shot on his left thigh while covering the firing exchange that continued throughout the Friday night between armed miscreants and combined security forces.
The injured individual was rushed to Raj Medicity in Imphal.
Hospital authorities said the bullet passed through his left thigh, fracturing his bone.
