Imphal: Two individuals were found shot on their legs on Tuesday evening at Khundrakpam Makha Leikai, Imphal East district, under the jurisdiction of Heingang police station.
The district police identified the two individuals as T. Hemanta of Sagolband, Imphal West district, and Y. Kesho of Sekta, Bishnupur district.
“They were found with bullet wounds on their legs. The perpetrators behind the crime are yet to be identified. Both individuals have been rushed to Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Porompat, Imphal East,,” police said.
A case has been registered at Heingang police station for further investigation and to apprehend the culprits, it added.
