Imphal: Manipur Police arrested two persons in a four-wheeler who were found carrying suspected SP tablets – 30 packets, each packet containing 90 strips, a total of – 2700 strips along NH-2 near Hengbung village, Senapati district on Saturday.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Akber Khan, 37, and Md. Abdul Rahman, 36.
From their possession, SP (Sampex +) capsules of 30 boxes containing 720 capsules in each box (30×720=21,600 capsules), one four-wheeler, four mobile phones, one Aadhaar card, one PAN card and a cash of Rs 7360 were recovered.
