Schools in Manipur to resume classes on Monday

Imphal: Manipur government has announced to reopen schools in Manipur that have been remaining closed since November 18 following Jiribam violence.

The Directorate of Education (S), Manipur on Sunday issued the order stating that normal classes will resume for all schools of the state, government, government aided, private and central schools from November 25 ( Monday) onwards.

All zonal education officers under the department of education-schools, Manipur were directed to inform all concerned under their jurisdiction and take up necessary actions accordingly.
