Kuki rebels’ bunkers destroyed

Imphal: Indian Army and Border security forces have destroyed Kuki militants bunkers at Bunglon in Churachandpur district of Manipur on Sunday.

“As a commitment to eradicating threats and maintaining stability in our state, the Army and Border Security Force (BSF) have successfully dismantled the Kuki militants’ bunkers in Bunglon,” chief minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh posted on Facebook wall.

“Let us cooperate with our security forces as we strive for a peaceful and secure future for all.”

To lessen the Meitei-Kuki conflict, security forces have been taking up search operations and area domination measures in the state.
