Imphal: The territorial integrity of the state shall remain intact, said Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Thursday during a function on government schemes held at City Convention here.

The chief minister said this as reminder to the people.

Manipur Integrity has been threatened with the demand of a Kuki separate administration by bifurcating Manipur. Manipur has been reeling in crisis since May 3, last year after Kuki launched attack to Meitei villages.

People have been pressing the state leaders to strongly act against the aggressive attack of the ‘Kuki-Zo narco-terrorists’.

Biren informed that medical teams have been formed to help the inmates at relief camps and added that a team comprised of doctors, nurses and multitasking staff. The said teams are visiting relief camps twice a week and at present, around 68 teams have been formed and visited about 238 camps for health check-up of the inmates, he added.

He informed that mental health counseling facilities had also been provided to the inmates and till date around 1436 free medical check-ups have been conducted.
