Imphal: An unattended carton containing 20,000 WIY tablets (methamphetamine, addictive stimulus) was discovered concealed in bushes behind the IB and Helipad area at Moreh in Tengnoupal district on Saturday.
The drug was detected during a joint search operation by Assam Rifles, BSF, Manipur Police and RAF.
Extensive searches were carried out in the vicinity and no further items were discovered, a press release said.
The recovered tablets, valued at approximately Rs 1 crore have been handed over to the Moreh Police station for further action, it added.
