Imphal: Tina Devi, DGM, Generation Division, MSPCL has been suspended for ‘irresponsible in her duty’ in the recent incident of spillage of fuel from the Heavy Fuel Based Power Plant, Leimakhong, Manipur.
The state Power department on Saturday issued an order of suspension of the DGM.
The order said Th. Tina Devi, DGM, Generation Division, MSPCL, has been found to be irresponsible in her duty in the recent incident of spillage of fuel from the Heavy Fuel Based Power Plant, Leimakhong, Manipur.
A disciplinary proceeding is contemplated against Tina in connection with the conduct, it said.
Under Rule 10(1)(a) of the CCS (CCA) Rules 1965 and in pursuance of Power Department letter No.18/1//2024-Power-PD dated 13th January, 2024, the personnel is placed under suspension with immediate effect and until further orders, it added.
During the suspension period, the headquarter of Tina shall be the headquarter of the concerned division and she shall not leave the station without obtaining permission of the competent authority, the order said.
