Imphal: Manipur Leepun chief Pramod Singh was attacked at Langol, under Lamphel Police station, in Imphal West on Friday morning by miscreants who came in a car.
Six bullets hit the vehicle of Pramod while it was being parked at Langol Lamkhai, near Shija Hospital and Research Institute at around 7:00 am.
Promod was with driver Johnny Loukrakpam, heading towards Meitei Leepun office at Langol. The miscreants in the car came from Shija Hospital side on the road that lead to Imphal city.
The bullets missed the duo. Police have taken a case to investigate over the incident.
