Curfew relaxation cancelled in Imphal districts

Imphal: Manipur Home department has cancelled Curfew relaxation in Imphal West and Imphal East due to arising instability of law and order situation.

The magistrates of the two Imphal districts said the relaxation of Curfew imposed from 5 am to 10 pm of Wednesday  has been cancelled ‘due to the developing of law and order situation in the districts’.

However, movement of persons belonging to essential services such as Health, Electricity, PHED, Petrol Pumps, Schools/Colleges, Municipality, Press and Electronic media, functioning of Courts and to and fro movement of flight passengers to airport and Contractor/Worker with valid Airport Entry Penult (AEP) Card shall be exempted from the imposition of curfew, the curfew orders said.
