Over 2kg Spasmo-proxyvon seized in Manipur

Imphal: Manipur Police on Sunday seized 2.260 kg of Spasmo-proxyvon capsules from a peddler at Terakhongsangbi in Bishnupur district.

The smuggler was identified as Md. Soukat Khan, 55, son of Md Jalaluddin of Kwakta Terakhongsangbi Ward no. 1.

He was driving a Ford Ecosport vehicle bearing registration number MN01AK-5536.

On surprise checking of the vehicle a black polythene containing 30 transparent plastic packets containing suspected loose Spasmo-proxyvon capsules weighing 2.260 Kg was found and seized along with the vehicle by observing formalities, a police report said on Monday.

A case is registered at Moirang Police station for further investigation, it added.
