3 Myanmarese nabbed at Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur

Imphal: A special commando team nabbed three Myanmar nationals from Indo-Myanmar border town Moreh in Tengnoupal district of Manipur on Sunday morning.

The police commando team found the trio while conducting foot patrolling in and around moreh town.

A police report said they were found suspected to be stealing of furniture items and electric generator from the houses which were burnt down in the current ethinic clashes.

They were identified as Khamkhenthang Guite, 25, son of Paochinlen Guite of Namphalong Sawbua II, Myanmar; Aung Mae, 30, son of Mae Aao of Tamu Sawbua X, Myanmar; and Aung Aung, 25, son of Uoo Mao Mao of Tamu Sawbua XI.

They were handed over to moreh police station for further thorough verification, the source said.
