Imphal: Large number of people stormed at the residence of MLA Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh at Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak, the MLA assured that justice will be delivered for the two students.
As the MLA was out of station, the people were not able to meet him in person. He was contacted on phone.
He assured the people that justice will be delivered for the two students who were brutally killed by suspected Kuki armed militants.
In a press note issued by the MLA mentioned that “so many mindless, despicable actions committed in the past months which are hard to describe. The brutal killing of the two innocent student is extremely hard for me to digest for they are our son and daughter. Words will not be enough to give comfort or console the bereaved families and also the people of the state in general”.
It stated that upon assurances given by the Union Home minister and chief minister, “a team of CBI had arrived in Manipur and already started the investigation”.
Keba expressed confident that the perpetrators will be booked and justice will be done at the earliest. He appealed cooperation from the public to get justice for the two students.
