Imphal: A mass public rally in Manipur valley has resolved to totally root out the ‘foreign Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist’ from the soil of Manipur ‘to end the present crisis in the state’.
The public rally resolved to take firm stance against creation of Separate Administration or Land in Manipur.
It demanded immediate implementation of NRC in the state. It also took a decision that public will decide what steps to be taken against the 50 MLAs (Non-Kuki MLAs) if failed to convene Special Assembly session by August 5.
The public rally resolved to submit a memorandum of demands to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
People in Lakhs took part in the rally march that was set off at Thangmeiband Athletic Union ground in Imphal West. A public gathering was organised after the demonstrators reach Hapta Kangjeibung in Imphal East. The rally covered a distance of about 4 km. The rally began at 10:30 am and it was 12:30 pm when the participants completely left the Thangmeiband athletic ground.
The mass rally was spearheaded by Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI).
