COCOMI writes to EU Parliament on Manipur situation 

Imphal: The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), which is the conglomeration of the civil societies in Imphal, has reached out to the European Union Parliament after it recently passed a resolution on the ongoing situation in Manipur.

The COCOMI stressed that the first information on Manipur was allegedly wrongly fed to the global arena and has therefore fabricated the actual situation in the trouble torn state.

In the letter addressed to President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, COCOMI coordinator Jeetendra Ningomba, stated that the European Parliament’s proactive efforts to demand action from the Government of India is appreciated.
