Jupiter Yambem remembered

Imphal: Jupiter Yambem was remembered on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 World Trade Center, New York attack.

Jupiter of Manipur who perished in the attack on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001 was remembered on Saturday in a solemn ceremony held at the Realize Rehabilitation and Retreat Center, Mongjam Chingjin in Imphal East.

A rendering of the Bhagwat Gita was held followed by floral offerings led byJupiter’s elder brother and veteran journalist Yambem Laba.

Former Manipur Univeristy vice chancellor professor Amar Yumnam and intending candidate of Uripok Assembly Constituency for the upcoming state Assembly elections Khubongmayum Suresh among others were present in the anniversary.
