Imphal: Churachandpur Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas at Churachandpur, Bishnupur, Noney and Pherzawl Districts on Monday.
To commemorate the victory of Indian Army during the Kargil War and honour the supreme sacrifice of 527 valiant soldiers, a webinar was organised on ‘Operation Vijay’ to spread awareness on glorious history of Indian Army and instill the feeling of Nationalism and Pride amongst the local populace.
The webinar was organised on various online platforms such as WhatsApp, Signal, YouTube etc and was attended by local youths as well as various CSOs, village chiefs and ESMs.
