Imphal: Dhanamanjuri University, Manipur has notified that the Semester Examinations (December, 2020) of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.B.A., B.P.E.S., LL.B. 3 rd and 5th Semester will commence on June 28 in view of the prevailing situation of Covid-19 pandemic.
Examinations will be conducted through online mode and Admit card can be downloaded from the University portal (www.examinations.dmuportal.in).
Questions for each paper will be uploaded online, as per the time table in the university portal.
Students are to make their own arrangements for the answer scripts (in A4 size bond papers) and submit it personally to the university within a stipulated time at a particular spot as directed by the university. In special cases, students may be allowed to submit online through the portal.
But it may be noted that the University will not bear any responsibility in case of any technical misadventure while submitting online, and thus, it is not desirable/advisable to submit online, controller of examination Dr A. Nabachandra Singh said.
It is mandatory for each student to write his or her own name, examination roll number and registration number along with name of the paper (elective or honours) on the front page of the answer book.
Details of the time table and directions (semester wise) will be issued separately.
Practical marks will be assessed by the concerned department of each college and marks to be submitted accordingly to the office of the controller of examinations.
All theory papers will be of 50 marks for both semesters.
For 3rd Semester, for papers of any subject having mark ratio of 75-25, i.e., theory (75) and practical (25), there will
be 50 marks in theory and 10 marks in practical.
In case of Geography subject, questions will be of 50 marks in theory and 25 marks in practical.
In case of LL.B., questions will be of 50 marks in theory and 20 marks in internal assessment.
Fir 5th Semester, theory papers will be of 50 marks and practical (if any), will be of 25 marks.
In case of LL.B., questions will be of 50 marks in theory and 20 marks in internal assessment.
Conversion of marks to 100 for each paper will be done accordingly.
A separate notification will be issued for the 1st Semester (UG) and 1st and 3rd Semester (PG) examinations later, the notification said.
