Imphal: Manipur received 50 oxygen concentrator machines provided by the Centre in view of the increasing number of Covid cases.
A special flight of the Indian Air Force airlifted the oxygen concentrators and landed at Imphal Airport at around 7.30 pm of Sunday.
“Received 50 oxygen concentrators from ministry of health and camily welfare which was airlifted by an IAF AN32 today. These oxygen concentrators will be immediately distributed to our hospitals,” chief minister N. Biren Singh posted on his Facebook wall.
He thanked the central government for the assistance ‘during this challenging times’.
On Friday the state received 60 oxygen concentrators from the ministry of health and family welfare which was airlifted from Delhi by an IAF AN32. They were contributed to people of India by UNICEF through MoHFW.
