Imphal: Thoubal district police on Monday arrested a person for importing mosquito repellents from Somrej along Yairipok Kason road.
The person was identified as Shamurailatpam Rishikumar Singh, 28, son of Sh. Nobendro Sharma of Old Checkon, Imphal East.
A total 58 carton boxes of imported mosquito repellent Godzilla from a four wheelers vehicle Bolero white in colour without a registration number.
The arrested person along with the seizures has been handed over to Nongpok Sekmai police station for further necessary action, police said.
