Imphal: Covid-19 has claimed 15 more lives, infected 824 persons in Manipur while it freed 468 persons from infection in 24 hours.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (9), Imphal East (3), Bishnupur (1) Kakching(1), and Thoubal (1).
The 824 positive cases were from Imphal East (168), Imphal West (361), Thoubal (36), Bishnupur (43), Kakching (92), Ulchrul (16), Churachandpur (67), Chandel (3), Senapati (15), Tamenglong (7), Tengnoupal (4), Kamjong (3), Noney (1) and Pherzawl (8).
Covid-19 common control room said the total number of discharged persons was 468. They were from Home Isolation (367), RIMS (2), LANVA (9), BB (6), NSU (4), SHRI (14), Babina Speciality Hospital (2), CCC Lamboikhongnangkhong (22), RAJMED (1), Thoubal (4), Bishnupur (4), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (27) and Senapati (1).
The cumulative number of positive cases was 45,451, the number of active cases is 6785 and the recovery rate was 83.48 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1184 D-type oxygen cylinders and 600 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur.
So far 352651 have been vaccinated.
