Imphal: Mantripukhri Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) provided hockey equipment and accessories to Manipur Hockey Federation, Imphal on Thursday towards promoting Fit India Movement.
The sports items were provided with an aim to motivate the youth of the district to take up the game and imbibe the ethos of sportsmanship.
The federation administrators appreciated the gesture of Assam Rifles and expressed their immense gratitude.
