Imphal: The recently re-opened Schools for Classes-VI to VIII shall remain closed with immediate effect and until further orders in public interest, says an order issued by director (education-S) L. Nandakumar Singh on Friday.
The instruction was made in view of the 2nd wave of Covid-19 pandemic and to avoid any kind of unwanted consequences likely to occur in the near future more particularly the students of Class-VI to VIII.
However, the physical classes for Class-IX to XII shall continue by strictly observing the approved SoP and guidelines framed by the state government. It is also reiterated that the classes for students of Class-V and below will be through online mode only as notified earlier.
