Imphal: In view of the second wave of Covid-19 and ever increasing cases in Manipur during the last two weeks, Manipur government has notified indefinite closure of state art and culture complexes.
The department informed that INA Martyr’s Memorial Complex, Moirang, Manipur State Museum, Imphal, Manipur State Archives, Imphal, State Central Library, Imphal, Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre, Imphal, Maharaj Chandrakirti
Auditorium, Manipur State Art Gallery, Imphal, Palace Auditorium, Imphal and Kangla will remain closed to the visitors and public from Apri1 20 till further notice.
Those who wish to enter Kangla for religious and ritualistic purposes may seek permission from the concerned authority at least seven days in advance, it said.
However, the walking (morning/evening) inside Kangla shall remain open, it added.
