Imphal: Manipur Democratic Alliance (MDA) has appreciated the judgement of the High Court of Manipur on disposing the delimitation commission which was to be conducted in 2020.
MDA convenor M. Tombi on Wednesday told reporters here that Tombi said to stop delimitation commission in Manipur various NGOs and other political parties including MDA press to stop delimitation process that is based on uncertified census.
In connection with the issue MDA raised a PIL at high court of Manipur last year. On Wednesday a double bench high court dispose the delimitation process for Manipur, he added.
He said for the last about 65 years of both central and state government, neglected all the national highways of Manipur, but with the coming of BJP government people can witness developments in the national highways of Manipur within a short period of time, said Tombi.
In all the coming election political parties under the umbrella of MDA will take part in the contest and the coming election would be a triangle election for BJP, INC and MDA, he added.
MDA will give priority to woman intending candidate for the coming election, Tombi said.
