Imphal: Education minister Rajen Singh has launched i30 Blended Learning Centre, Imphal Branch on Wednesday.
The learning centre has its office at RIMS road and Nagaram.
Rajen said with the view to encourage talented students of the state who wish to opt for IIT, JEE, NEET programme will be trained by this blended learning centre. Five government school students will be getting opportunity to join i30 Learning Centre at free of cost under School Fagathansi Mission. Medical and engineering aspirants will be benefited by this initiative, he added.
The class in i30 may be on line or off line. For those who stay far away from the site of the learning centre, there will be on-line class facilities. Teaching faculties includes highly trained teaching professionals including Anandkumar who is also popularly known as Super-30 for his high skill of training students.
Students belonging to class VIII, IX and X will be given opportunity to join i30 Learning Centre for foundation courses. There will also be scholarship schemes for outstanding students. Free learning facility will be provided for those students who score highest percentage of marks in the examinations.
Chief executive officer, CEO, i30 Learning Centre N. Indrakumar, IT Dirctor T. Roshan were also present at the launching occasion.
