Covid-19 active cases falls to 111

Imphal: Covid-19 active cases has fallen to 111 on Wednesday with the discharge of nine patients in Manipur.

In 24 hours, nine persons from general population were confirmed as new positive cases.

They were from general population are from Imphal West (2), Imphal East (1), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (1), Chandel (1) and Churachandpur (2).

One person aged 47 years (male, Chandel) expired at Shija Hospital. The cumulative number of deaths is 372, Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of positive cases was 29,086 and the number of active cases was 111 (general population — 100 and central security personnel — 11). The recovery rate was 98.33 percent.
