COVID-19 recovery rate rises to 91.16 percent

Imphal: Recovery rate of COVID-19 has risen to 91.16 percent with the discharge of new 141 COVID patients on Tuesday.

In the past 24 hours till Tuesday 5 pm 79 persons from general population and four personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new positive cases.

During the period three persons aged 62 years (male, Imphal East), 53 years (male, Imphal West) and 50 years (female, Bishnupur) expired at Rajmed (1) and JNIMS Hospital (2) respectively. The cumulative number of deaths was 327.

The cumulative number of positive cases was 27,293 and the number of active cases was 2,085.
