Imphal: The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases is 7875, cumulative number of recovered cases is 6191and the number of active cases is 1638.
The recovery rate is 78.61 percent, state Covid-19 common control room said.
In the past 24 hours, 133 persons from general population and 11 personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases, it added.
The positive cases, it said, are from VRDL, RIMS-13; JNIMS-22; Thoubal 20; Raj Medicity – 3; Shija Hospital – 5; CMC – 1; RIMS RAT – 12; Churachandpur –
11; Imphal West RAT – 27; Kangpokpi – 1; Imphal East RAT – 10; Bishnupur – 8; RD Wing – 1; Babina Diagnostics 9; Maipakpi Hospital 1. They are
from Imphal West 63; Churachandpur – 12; Thoubal – 22; Imphal East -23; Kakching – 1; Kangpokpi – 2; Bishnupur – 10. Sixteen persons (Kangpokpi – 1;
Churachandpur population 11, Imphal West -1, Imphal East-3) out of the general are returnees from other states are returnees from other states while the rest 117 are locals without any significant travel history. They are being shifted to the Covid care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, one male aged 86 years from Churachandpur expired at RIMS. The cumulative number of deaths is 46, the control room said.
It said in the past twenty-four hours, 89 persons were discharged after they were found Covid-19 free on RT PCR test.
