Imphal: A meeting emphasising on the mode and conduct of examination in the state apropos the ‘Roadmap towards containing COVID-19’ developed by MU COVID-19 Task Force Committee chaired by education minister Th. Radheshyam was held at his office chamber on Thursday.
The meeting deliberated in depth on the prevailing scenario with special reference to the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state, the loss of teaching-learning process and the manner in which the evaluation/examination can be conducted keeping the interest of the students in the forefront.
One of the key focus of the meeting was the welfare of the students and their academic progression. The minister impressed upon the members present, especially the representatives of MU and DMU, to ensure that all decisions are transparent and collective in nature and encouraging full participation of all stakeholders in the decision making process. Given the present COVID-19 scenario in the state, the minister also highlighted the need to have a dynamic and proactive decision making process which may also involve innovative, creative and out-of-box solutions.
