Imphal, the 24th February,2018 (DIPR): ‘Festival of Literature Dance & Music’ was kicked off from today at Chorus Repertory Theatre Complex, Samushang, Imphal. The Festival is jointly organised by the Writers’ Forum Imphal and North Eastern Council, Ministry of DONER and will continue till 26th February, 2018.
As part of the Festival of Literature Dance & Music, ‘Sandhyagi Eshei’ was presented as Dance Drama. The Dance Drama was choreographed by W. Lokendrajit. Kangjam Radhakumar recited the translated (translated by himself in English) version of Sandhyagi Eshei/ Evening Song. An interaction session with the Choreographer and the Translator with the audience on ‘Sandhyagi Eshei’ was also there.
Mention may be made that ‘Sandhyagi Eshei’ is a poem written by late Kangjam Padmakumar.
