Imphal, January 23, 2018 (DIPR): Education Minister Shri Thokchom Radheshyam Singh said that education is the only answer to all the issues and problems and everyone have been working with all their might in this key sector of education, contributing their best to bring a positive change.
The Minister was speaking as the Chief Guest at the inauguration of six days Orientation of the State Resource Groups (SRGs) on ICTs Initiatives in Education & Learning for NE States jointly organised by the SCERT, Directorate of Education (S), CIET and NCERT, New Delhi, held at State Academy of Training, Manipur yesterday. Lauding the contributions of the NCERT, SCERT and to all who have rendered their best in education, he said that “We are here to find solutions and we are the solutions”.
In today’s world, with technology and proper time management, the department can function more effectively making such training programmes more important and relevant. As a trainer or resource persons working in the education sector, learning overall management of time, syllabus and equipment is a must and has now been simplified by technology, the Minister added.
Using maximum of the available facilities to bring a positive changes` in the education system, Th. Radheshyam appealed to the delegates from across the North East to make new developments in the field of education increasing, interest and attraction to the children (the students) so that the works become fruitful for both the creator and the user.
The inauguration was participated by the Joint Director, CIET, NCERT, New Delhi, Amarendra Behera, Director Education (S) Th. Kirankumar, Director SCERT Dr. M. Meenakumari, Professor, Dept. of Education in Social Sciences, NCERT Dr. Neeraja Rashmi, Deputy Director, State Academy of Training, A. Shivadas Sharma and officials of Education Department.
