Imphal, January 28, 2018 (DIPR): Education Minister Shri Th. Radheshyam inaugurating Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) of Khongjom Standard English School, Khongjom, said that the laboratory will enhance the innovative and creativity of the children cultivating them as future researcher who will become the solutions provider to the problems prevailing in the society. A website of school was also launched yesterday.
Further, he explained that education is not just to get good marks but to search and research for solutions and solve the problems that comes in life and that exist in the society. The lab, the Minister said that, will also help the students cope in facing the challenges of the competitions and in experiencing and expressing their ideas and views.
He said hard work and dedication should always be the tools for the students by utilising the available resources in the best way. The teachers, parents and guardians should mentor and guide the young minds to become good leaders without setting any limit.
Atal Tinkering Laboratories is a scheme with a vision to ‘Cultivate One Million Children in India as Neoteric Innovators’, under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) including Self-Employment and Talent Utilization (SETU) of NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India), Government of India’s endeavour to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Various schools of Manipur from both government and private schools are being selected for the scheme.
