Imphal, November 17: Zeliangrong United Front today fired three rounds near Noney market area last night as a warning to push away the existence of NSCN IM at Noney Bazar.
The firing incident took place at around 10:25pm.
Denouncing the incident large number of people from different walks of life took out a rally at Noney Bazar road. People demanded no repetition of such terrible act and urged for peace.
Sources say ZUF Jenchui Kamei group and NSCN-K are against NSCN-IM .They want to dominate Noney area for extortion and easy exit for Tamenglong.There is a possible factional clashed in Noney area and Khoupum area in near future, added the source.
