Imphal, November 16: Three died and three others injured in an accident yesterday near Khongsang while security personnel on ROP returned back to Imphal from Tamenglong where the chief minister Nongthombam Biren Singh interacted with the villagers and held a cabinet meeting.
The escort team of Adim Pamei, vice chairman of Manipur Disaster Management Committee. The team included K. Sararjit Sing, L. Jibankumar, Domonic Rongmai, K. Mongsang maring , Kh. Bungo Singh and Paopugulung Kamson of 5 Manipur Rifles.
The deceased personnel were identified as Havildar Samarjit Singh, riflemen Dominic and Kh. Bungo Singh. Two others were also said to be in critical condition.
