Imphal, October 14: At least 135 children today attended at the Free Health-Camp for children upto 10 years at Angom Thong Meira Sang Kongpal Kshetri Leikai Imphal-East.
The medical camp was jointly organised by Medical & Sales Representatives’ Association of Manipur and Paediatric Department of JNIMS with the help of Eastern Youth Construction Association, Kongpal Kshetri Leikai.
It carried the theme “Healthy Child for a Better Society”.
This camp was conducted with the assistance of Dr. L. Ranbir Medical Superintendent of JNIMS with Dr. RK. Rupabati, Dr. T. Geetanjan and their team of seven Junior doctors of Paediatric Department.
Dr. Ranbir told Pothashang that the children medical camp will be organised every second weekend covering a diameter of 15 km from the heart of Imphal.
The medical group has been rendering free medical check up with free medical supply by continuously organising medical camps.
Recently the group had organised a free medical camp for the women vendors of Khwairamband bazar at the temporary market near Tikendrajit park.
