Imphal, September 7: Neroca FC beat NISA by 2-1 goals in the 12th Manipur State League 2017 played at Artificial Turf, Khuman Lampak.Neroca FC who will be making theirs I-League from November later this year, fielded youngster in the first half play and got the lead when Ng.Ronald Singh beat the keeper in the 29 minute of play. However NISA replied positively with Kh.Jolly fetch the equaliser in the 35 minute to drew parity in the score.
With with a long stalemate in the second half, Neroca FC push ahead in the 90 minute when M.Gouramangi Singh got the better of NISA keeper who fumbles the ball of a corner kick to shot home the winning goal. Neroca FC player M.Gouramangi, Ng.Ronald and NISA player S.Rojen, S.Manimohon got a yellow card in the match for dangerous foul.
In another match, Dimapur Road Athletic Organisation defeated Muvanlai Athletics by 3-1 goals to collect full point. For Dimapur Road team, Y.Sushilkumar struck two goals while Khangathar Tungshangnao fetch a goal. The lone goal for Muvanlai was scored by Haolengou Kipgen. Dimapur Road player H.Ramananda and Muvanlai player David Mangboi Lhungdum, Khualsanglian Ngaihte were booked with yellow card.
