Rapist shot

An accused rapist was shot with three bullets by unknown persons on his way back from Cherap Court.

The victim was Saikhom Bhogen (42) son of S.Bheiga of Sairem khun under Lamshang Police  Imphal West Dist.

It is said he was shot by three unknown persons at Takyel near Model Higher Secondary school around 1.30 pm. He got bullet injury on left side hand & belly.

He is the accused of rape case in 2013.

Today he was summoned  to Cheriap court in connection of rape case and was returning home on a motor cycle.

Doctor says his condition is critical.
