CAF & PD Minister Shri Karam Shyam led many other institutes, organisations, hospitals and individuals in generously donating to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help the flood victims today.
The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) received a total of Rs. 17,28,557 from different organisations and persons today.
Shri Karam Shyam handed over a cheque of Rs. 50,000 to Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh on the sideline of a press conference held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
On the other hand, Manipur University donated Rs. 4,37,000, Sky Hospital & Research Center donated Rs. 2,00,000, Maipakpi Maternity & Child Hospital donated Rs. 2,00,000, Imphal Hospital & Research Institute donated Rs. 1,50,000, Advanced Speciality Hospital and Research Institute donated Rs. 1,50,000, Jivan Hospital, Kakching contributed Rs. 1,00,000, City Hospital and Research Center donated Rs. 1,00,000, Catholic Medical Centre donated Rs. 1,00,000, Iboyaima Hospital & Research Centre donated Rs. 20,000, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Imphal donated Rs. 1,01,557, Khongnang Gas Agency donated Rs. 30,000, South East Manipur College, Komlathabi donated Rs. 50,000 and Anwar Hussian donated Rs. 40,000.
In a solemn ceremony held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the amounts were handed over to Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all the organisations and individuals who had contributed generous donations to CMRF. He also appealed to the public to donate generously to help rehabilitate the victims and rebuild the damaged houses.
