“Our World Tour; Step Towards Real Life” team which started its jurney from Gujarat on March 24 in a mini bus has crossed Imphal heading towards Mynamar.
With the aim tourism with social activity to spread awareness in connection with eye donation and human organ donation to the people of the world the tour was organised with the support and co-operation by the Indian Red Cross Society.
Starting from Gujarat the team crossed Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Assam, Mizoram and Manipur. They reached Manipur yesterday. During their tour in the state the team had met Governor Dr. Njama A. Heptulla, and visited Indian Red Cross Society Manipur, Bal Bidhyabhavan and the Govindaji Temple.
S.D Raval retired forest officer of Gujarat led the team of the tour that planned to visit 68 countries of the world in 374 days and cover a distance of 76, 000 km on road.
They were felicitated the BJP Manipur Pradesh office today. The travelling team were flagged off by a BJP team led by MLA S. Satyabratta.
While in Manipur the team got three donors one among them was a BJP lady member, B. Bisheswori Devi. She donated her high and signed a bond with the team leader.
So far 63 donors has come up, 39 from Gujarat, 16 from Delhi and 12 from Kolkata three donors from Manipur.
The tour will conclude in Argentina.
