K&MM Riding School drubbed Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club by 8-0 goals to move into the final of the 16th Governor’s Cup Women’s Polo Tournament 2017 played at Mapal Kangjeibung.
With three teams in the meet, Imphal Riding Club got a bye and straight away booked a berth to the final.
K&MM Riding School met little resistance from Thangmeiband team and the former strike at will with L.Thadoi shooting home the opening goal while I.Sangita got the second goal in the first chukker. In the second chukker, S.Sangita increased the tally as she scored her team third goal.
Gallopng hard in the game, K&MM Riding School lost no time with Th.Tanna hammering home two goal in the third chukker and later in the fourth chukker, Th.Sanajaobi, L.Thadoi and Th.Tanna push home a goal each for the resounding victory, enroute to the final which will be played on Monday.
