Candidates contesting in the ensuing state legislative assembly election are aspired to represent their people and work for the betterment of the people in their respective constituencies as well as in the state and the country and Pothashang met a candidate who sticks on to develop Andro, one of the cultural heritage site and a tourist destination of Manipur.
Pothashang today met a candidate, K.N. Singh who is contesting on Manipur National Democratic Front, MNDF’s ticket. He was an intending candidate for BJP, but left the party when he realised he would lose his hope after investing huge sum as par the direction of the party leaders as he expressed earlier.
K.N. Singh who came to file his nomination papers for the election at his concerned returning officer at Imphal East administration office has made promises to make Andro constituency a grooming constituency.
He said he would make the road update to the standard, work for poor, and children and women as the top priority.
“We need a big change for the prosperity of the state and for that we need our representatives to be sincere and promises should not be made for the sake of vote bank” said a citizen who belongs to Imphal.
Among the known candidates who were happened to pass file their nominations in Imphal East ROs were Speaker Lokeshore and Karam Thamarjit, both contesting on Congress Ticket.
