Police apprehended an NSCN-K Cadre who was a resident of Heirangoithong Chingtham Leikai in a counter insurgency operation. Last night.
Imphal West police commando led by inspector Thaingampou apprehended the NSCN-K cadre at around 8: 30 pm in an operation conducted under the supervision of additional superintendant of police (operations), Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh.
Police says the 47 years old militant works under the outfit’s member Adon Kamei @ Kissan and he had been involved in extortion of huge amount of money from general public for raising the outfit’s fund.
