Few Janshakti Party (LJP) today announced list of 11 candidates for the first phase in a function held at its office at Bapupara in Imphal.
Karam Shyam, President of LJP Manipur Unit and MLA of Langthabal constituency said that the party aimed at achieving a political integration considering the political situation in the state.
If the party candidates succeed in the ensuing election, the party will try to make adjustment with other political parties to form a new government in the state and also will try to take up necessary steps to wipe out corruption and other related from the state, he added.
Shyam maintained that though LJP is partner of NDA government, the party will take a big role in making a new government in the state. The party will work in the interest of the people and after taking decision from the party side will go for 100% with adjustment from the locals, he added.
Announcing the names of the party candidates of the coming election, Shyam further said that the list of the second phase will also be announce in the next couple of days.
The names of the candidate announced today includes Takhellambam Shyamananda of Keirao A/C, Athokpam Kishor of Yaiskul A/C, Konthoujam Manoranjan of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa A/C, Moirangmayum Thoiba of Wangoi A/C, Ningombam Ibohal of Kumbi A/C, Khangambam Jadumani of Wangkhei A/C, Wungshing Akham of Phungyar A/C, Worthihgton of Ukhrul A/C and Thangkanmin of Thalon A/C.
